Training Their are a number of essential skills necessary to operate an effective challenge program. The well trained facilitator will have not only the technical skills necessary to operate the course and effectively manage risk for their participants, but he will also possess communications, assessment, and group skills that will assist his students to reap maximum benefit from their participation. |

Proper expert training is an
essential ingredient for developing and maintaining these
skills. The challenge course, by design, is an
unfamiliar and sometimes scary place. In order to keep the
perceived risk high and the real risk at a manageable level, instructors
must be vigilant
in their pursuit of knowledge
and training. We do not limit our training to technical skills but attempt to help future facilitators to find and understand their own values and style.

If you wish to offer training on your particular course, whether constructed by Adventures Unlimited Inc. or not, we will train you and your staff to effectively manage and implement your course. This is a great option if you are inheriting a course built prior to your involvement with a program.
